Tips from the photographer
Choose a photographer that you relate to. Feeling comfortable
with your photographer is half the battle won.- Try to RELAX!!! It is normal to be a little nervous, but remember normally by the time the photo’s are taken the officialities are over. Take a deep
breath and have fun taking your pics. - Ask your photograher beforehand if there is special poses you would like.
- Remember with digital photographs, you are not limited to how many pictures are taken. I like to click away, the unwanted ones can be deleted.
Take a hairbrush, facial powder and some lipstick with to the shoot.- Personlizing your shoot is great fun, bring your favourite teddybear etc. with.
- Try have a list ready with the people you would like in the formal photo’s. It also helps to have someone eg the bestman, who knows most of them, to help get them together for the photograhps.
- Make sure the photographer is given time to do the formal photo’s without people having to pose for other photographs in between. Remember you do not want to have your other guest wait to long.
- Do not seat your photographer with other guest at the receiption, the photographer moving around all the time will desturb them. Rather seat them in a corner somewhere, but still with a way to get to the main table.
- And please remember to feed the photographer.
